Here are a few posts and graphics I created while working with Heartfelt Tidbits.
"Today is Indigenous People's Day! We urge you to take the time today to learn about indigenous people's culture and history, as well as support indigenous owned businesses, charities, and non-profits. It’s important we recognize the history of colonization in this country and the historical and current discrimination against Indigenous and native people and tribes."
While I did make posts about national/international days, I would also make larger scale posts about the history of that day and things to do/charities to donate to. On occasion I would make posts with a more mature tone.
"Happy Lunar New Year - The Year of the Dragon! We wish you all a new year filled with prosperity and good health for you, your friends, and family."
Since the nonprofit focused a lot on diversity, we would make many posts about holidays and festivals across the world.
I made this graphic by looking and researching the Lunar New Year and learned that according to the Chinese Zodiac this is the Year of the Dragon hence the decoration I added. Also, I made it mostly red as that color is considered a staple of the festival and a source of good luck.
"Many people know Alexander Graham Bell for the invention of the telephone, however a lot of people ignore his other accomplishments and facts about his biography like his many talents with Visible Speech, acoustics, and elocution. In a sense, even before his work on the telephone began, Alexander Bell always have a fascination with the art and science of sound."
I made a set of posts titled "Fun Fact!" where it was about an item or person and their history and achievements. I would research these topics and make short to the point informational pieces on that subject.

Using International Artist Day, we combined it with one of the art programs to celebrate the day and make people aware of the program.

I made a fair share of promotional posts for the events and programs, with this post specifically about the auction they held during the International Gala where people's money would help the cause while they received gifts and such.
This post was to let everyone know the auction was officially open that moment.

I also made promotional posts for other companies usually as thanks, I researched the company and what it sold. After that, I made this wintery ice skating graphic as the Northland Ice Center is an ice skating rink.
